Caroline Vrand, Anne de Bretagne et les arts. Au rythme de la vie de cour (Anne of Brittany and the Arts. In Step with Life at Court)
The Périer-D’Ieteren Foundation is supporting the publication of the doctoral thesis of Caroline Vrand (Université Paris 1 – Panthéon Sorbonne) on the art collections of Anne of Brittany (1477-1514). The study looks first at written sources – in particular, documents called Anne of Brittany’s “inventories” (BNF, ms fr. 22335) – for a comprehensive approach of the queen’s art collections, their composition and their use at court.
